Pumpkin Dump Cake

PumpkinsImage via WikipediaThis is the best stinking dessert ever. Ever. I have had dreams about how good this dessert is. I got the recipe from here.

I am not sure why it calls for the evaporated milk, because you use PP mix, but I used it anyway. The directions didn't mention it, so I included it.

If you can't use the PP mix or milk, you can just make your regular pumpkin pie recipe instead of the PP mix and evaporated milk.

Pumpkin Dump Cake
3 Eggs (large), beaten
1 30oz Can of Pumpkin Pie Mix
1/2 Can (6 oz) Evaporated milk
1 Pkg. Yellow or Spice cake mix
1/2 C. Pecans, chopped
1 Stick (1/2 c.) melted butter

After beating eggs, add can of pumpkin pie mix and evaporated milk. Blend together. Pour batter into a prepared (cooking spray coated) 13x9 inch pan.

Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.

Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 1 hour, until edges are lightly browned. This may take longer depending on your oven.

Serve warm or cooled with whipped topping.
